The article considers the problem of the formation of intercultural competence of students in the process of learning the Russian language in the conditions of the Kyrgyz school. The relevance of the research is determined by modern socio-cultural changes, the expansion of intercultural contacts and the need to educate a person capable of effective interaction with representatives of other cultures while preserving national identity. In this context, teaching Russian as a means of intercultural communication is of particular importance. The purpose of the research is to provide a theoretical justification and practical realization of the possibilities of linguistic and cultural studies in the formation of intercultural competence of students in Russian language lessons. The paper reveals the essence of the concepts of "intercultural competence", "linguistics", "linguoculturology", and defines their role in the system of modern language education. Russian Russian linguistics The article analyzes the main components of intercultural competence (cognitive, value-motivational, communicative-behavioral) and shows how they are formed through the study of vocabulary with a national-cultural component of meaning, phraseology, proverbs and sayings, the realities of Russian culture, as well as when comparing Russian and Kyrgyz linguistic worldviews. Special attention is paid to the use of artistic and journalistic texts, cultural dialogues, problematic and comparative tasks aimed at developing tolerance, cultural reflection and respect for another culture. The practical significance of the research lies in the possibility of using the proposed methodological techniques and tasks in the educational process of secondary schools. The results of the research can be applied in the practice of teaching Russian, in the development of teaching aids, as well as in the system of training future teachers of philology.
