Formation of the personal mobility in the system of continuing education: review

The paper contains the review of the domestic and foreign researchers on the problem of formation of the personal mobility in the system of continuing education. Both - the mobility as a process and as an integrative quality of the individual are considered, as the aspects of the phenomenon of mobility in education and of the concept of mobility in pedagogy. The properties of mobility among which are activity, high motivation, adaptability, flexibility, interest, creativity, and openness are discovered. Mobility as an integrative quality of a person is treated as a goal, as expected and achieved results of education. The results of the analysis show that mobility can be formed at any age in the process of continuing education. Mobility as a process in education and pedagogy is considered as a means or condition of education that contributes to the formation of socially significant qualities of personality in different age periods. The presented interpretations of mobility can serve as backgrounds for the implementation of pedagogical research and for the organization of the educational process in the system of continuing education.
