Formation of a model of the integral index of competitiveness of a construction company on the basis of organizational and technical indicators

The methods of estimating the competitiveness of a construction company based on the use of multifactor model of an integral index are proposed. This is due to the fact that the object of study is a social and economic system, the activity of which depends on a variety of internal and external factors affecting the competitiveness of enterprises. These factors do not have the same dimension and are not always quantifiable. That is why the authors propose to use the method of expert evaluation.The article presents an algorithm of forming a model of the integral index of competitiveness. Private competitiveness indicators are classified and methods of calculating private indicators and ratios of significance groups of indicators are provided. The system of private indicators comprehensively evaluates the enterprise and takes into account the specifics of the construction industry. Private indicators are divided into four groups: management indicators (U), organizational and technical indicators (O), financial indicators (F), and competitiveness of products (P). This division is conditioned on peculiarities of the construction industry. Once all parameters are quantified, indicators of individual groups are calculated. The calculation of group indicators is accompanied by determination of the degree of significance of each particular index (k). One of the expert methods - a method of paired comparisons is used. In accordance with this method, an expert compares all pairwise indicators and writes down the results as a system of paired comparisons, using the terms “more significant”, “less important”. This method is the simplest and easiest for an expert, as the choice is made among two indicators. The consistency of expert opinion in determining the coefficients of private indicators is determined by the coefficient of concordance. The importance of this factor can bechecked with the help of Pearson criterion (χ2).
