Formation of students' motivation for a healthy lifestyle in athletic gymnastics classes

The article is devoted to the study of theoretical aspects of the formation of motivation for a healthy lifestyle among students in the process of athletic gymnastics. It is determined that the motivation of a healthy lifestyle can be attributed to the motivational-value component of its formation, the main health-improving motives are identified, as well as the motives for physical development among students. It is concluded that in order to increase the interest of students in athletic gymnastics and the formation of health-improving motives in them, the content of classes should correspond to the interests of the specific groups that the classes are aimed at, taking into account their leading motivation.
