Formation of musical culture in younger schoolchildren with Dagestan professional music

The features of the formation of the musical culture of schoolchildren by means of folklore are considered. Dagestan professional music is rooted in ethnic composition, culture, especially musical folklore of the mountainous region. Folklore is understood as the soul of the people. A prerequisite for the training of the younger generation is the use of the knowledge of ethnomusic and understanding their place in the civilization. The development of the musical culture of schoolchildren is influenced by ethnic, national and regional characteristics, which must be taken into account in the process of teaching music. The musical culture of a student is defined as a holistic education, which includes purposeful musical and creative activity, motivated musical morality, musical literacy, musicality. One of the conditions for the formation of the musical culture of schoolchildren is their introduction to the national professional art.
