The speech therapist’s correction work in dysarthria correction can be compared with the organization of functional relationships between the nervous system that controls the motor act and the muscles that directly perform speech, as well as the organization of active strengthening and development of the muscles involved in pronouncing sounds and forming speech. Based on the analysis of published results of dysarthria correction and the author’s personal experience, we can confi dently assert that success is oft en achieved with complex work using speech therapy massage technology. Th erefore, strengthening the muscles of the speech apparatus is possible due to the muscles of a speech therapy massage specialist who has the necessary properties of strength and clarity of movements (muscle memory), as well as tactile sensitivity of the fi ngers. Th e article discusses aspects of the formation of muscle memory and tactile feelings in a specialist with litt le experience in speech therapy massage with the aim to improve the quality of corrective speech therapy work in the absence of a periodicity of its implementation. It is proposed to form the necessary tactile senses, clarity and sequence of movements as an addition to the work system based on self-massage technology. As a justifi cation for the practical implementation of this proposal, a comparative analysis of existing methods of relaxing and activating types of speech therapy massage and methods of repeating them in self-massage conditions was conducted. As a result, self-massage is presented as a training process for the muscles of a speech therapy massage specialist and tactile senses from the position of the conceptual apparatus of muscle memory, myonuclei, neuroplasticity and accumulation of myonuclei.
