The article considers the process of formation of skills to create a monological statement in various forms of thought: description, narrative and reasoning. It is emphasized that the choice of speech form depends on the theme of the statement, as well as on the features of each type of monologue. The authors identify a common structure for all types of monologues, consisting of an introduction, body, and conclusion, but emphasize that the algorithms for their creation differ.
