Formation of moral volitional qualities of police officers at the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs' educational organizations

Introduction. The necessity and possibility of forming police officers' moral volitional qualities in the course of learning and training are substantiated. The aim is to reveal the peculiarities of police officers' moral volitional qualities' formation and identify the areas of its improvement. Materials, Methods and Results. Binary psychological states are revealed: conducive and unfavourable, relevant and potential. The paper defines an important role of both internal psychic processes and external circumstances of activity in formation of moral volitional qualities. The classification of pre-stress states arising in police work is given, their content disclosed. The authors outline the main elements of the method of forming moral volitional qualities within the complex approach to the solution of pedagogical tasks. The paper comprises some methods, sequence and psychology-pedagogical conditions of police officers' moral volitional qualities' formation in the course of learning and training at the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs' educational organizations. Conclusions. Moral volitional qualities as personal characteristics enable a man to consciously control his behaviour and activity manifested in his ability to overcome internal and external difficulties when performing purposeful actions and deeds.
