The article considers the problem of motivation of modern high school pupils' self-upbringing by means of their moral values formation, what is especially important in the situation of social instability. The author proceeds from the statement that basic qualitative guiding lines should be the following: conscience, honor and duty. She proposes the correct forms of pedagogical influence on the process of world view formation and modern pupils' self-upbringing.
