This article addresses current issues related to initial working capital formation when planning investments in a small-scale pharmaceutical production facility producing adsorbed drone homogenate. Particular attention is given to a detailed methodology for calculating resource requirements during the initial stage of the enterprise’s business operations, taking into account industry-specific factors. Investment areas for the project as a whole are presented, along with calculations of initial working capital requirements, including expenses for the procurement of drone homogenate in its native form, its stabilization, filling and packaging, staff salaries, and test marketing. This approach allows for determining the optimal amount of initial working capital given resource constraints and the need to mitigate financial risks related to project payback. The results of this study are of interest to the scientific community, entrepreneurs, and specialists in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries.
