The article discusses the features of the formation of ideas about the world around us in preschoolers aged 5-6 years with intellectual disabilities. The features of using gaming activities to correct ideas and expand horizons in children with intellectual disabilities are considered. The article emphasizes the importance of working with children with intellectual disabilities in conditions of psychological and pedagogical support. Effective work to correct ideas about the world around children with intellectual disabilities requires an integrated approach, which includes not only play activities, but also individualized educational programs, psychological support and work with the family.
