The article contains analysis of the problem of formation of professional-pedagogical orientation of students of pedagogical specialties. The study was conducted by examining the theoretical and practical literature in the field of pedagogy and psychology with reference to authoritative sources. The relevance of the article is that at the present stage of development of national education, the work of the universities and the society develops, social and economic relations to the new level. There are new requirements regarding the training of workers. One of the leading requirements is the strengthening of the role of professional and pedagogical orientation of training and development of professional qualities of future specialists. The authors of the article conducted research of the modern educational environment of universities, to determine the efficiency of formation of professional-pedagogical orientation of students of pedagogical specialties.
