The article presents the definition of the value of military vocational education understood as transfer of experience to the student and at the same time his own learning experience that creates conditions for achieving learning outcomes close to the standard defined by the standards and qualification requirements for the level of training. The article dwells on the role and tasks of a mentor in the development of professionally significant values of military education.
