Formation of professional self-determination of an individual through specialised (profile) training within the system of continuous technical education

A terminological analysis of the notions «self-determination of an individual», «self-determination in life», «professional self-determination» has been carried out, a working definition of professional selfdetermination of an individual given. The article proposes the relevant means of improving pedagogical guidance of the professional self-determination.
