Formation of professional competences of students of pedagogical higher education institutions

The formation of professional competencies among students at pedagogical universities is an important area of research. In order for students to be equipped with the necessary skills to become competent and effective teachers in the future, they must master universal, professional competencies, including general scientific, instrumental, social, personal and general cultural competencies. To work successfully in the field of education, students must master the following professional competencies, such as information technology, organizational, research, intercultural, and ethical competencies. This article aims to discuss the challenges students face in developing professional competencies and the strategies that can be used to overcome these challenges. Formative competencies in students are key to successful performance in any profession and can be acquired through training, practice or work experience. The formation and development of professional competencies is a necessary element of career growth and helps specialists maintain their competitiveness in the labor market.
