Formation of penitentiary officers’ psychological culture via psychological education

Introduction. The problem of the formation of the psychological culture of the personality of correctional institution officers determined by the humanization of relations in penitentiary institutions is under study. In addition, the professional activity of employees of the penal enforcement system is inextricably connected with communication, is essentially communicative, communication has a professional and functional load, i. e. it is professionalized. The purpose of the research is to reveal the effectiveness of psychological education of correctional institution staff aimed at the formation of psychological culture of an individual.
