Educating adolescents in family values during extracurricular activities in literature (from working practice)

The article shows how it is possible to change the organization of a traditional extracurricular study class in order to develop family values on the example of extracurricular activities in native (Buryat) literature involving the older and younger generations. We have considered and analyzed the peculiarities of organizing one of the forms of extracurricular activities in literature - the literary salon based on the best examples of poetry of Buryatia - for development of family values in adolescents. Celebration of Mother's Day in Russia is carried out with the involvement of the older generation to its organization and their direct participation. Joint activities allow adolescents to perceive elderly relatives from a different perspective, to feel family support, and identify themselves with their native culture and their people.
