The article analyzes models of student behavior assessment in Russian vocational educational institutions with a security focus, using the case study of the Technical Fire and Rescue College named after V.M. Maksimchuk (GBPOU TPSC). The study examines the effectiveness of a collective responsibility system in developing professional competencies among future rescuers. The relevance of the research is driven by the ongoing debate about reintroducing behavior assessments in Russian schools, necessitating a review of practices from specialized colleges where such systems persist. The aim is to identify the advantages and limitations of the collective approach compared to individual disciplinary models (e.g., military universities). The methodology includes a comparative analysis of both systems, expert interviews with educators, and monitoring data on vocational training quality (2024). Results show that collective assessment fosters teamwork skills, reduces conflicts, and enhances socio-psychological adaptation. The college’s success in the "Moscow Masters" championship (2024) validates the model’s effectiveness in building professional resilience. Scientific novelty lies in justifying collective responsibility in the context of digitalization, where group disciplinary practices mitigate the lack of direct interpersonal interaction. Conclusions emphasize that this approach is optimal for training emergency service specialists but requires adaptation in general education to balance discipline with psychological comfort.
