Formation of a list of indispensable competences of a government official in the field of documentation management

A list of the indispensable competences of a government official in the field of documentation management is formed in the paper. The method proposed earlier by the author for conducting and elaborating the results of the survey of respondents was used. A list of governing documents defining the requirements for the management of documentation in the public authorities is presented. The occupational standards applied in the field of management documentation support for the independent assessment of specialists are taken into account when choosing the competence wording. The results of a survey of experts and government officials, in which representatives of all categories of state employees from various executive bodies of the state authorities of Penza Region participated, are described. The ranking of competencies according to the degree of demand has been carried out. The list can be used for personnel competitions and appraisals, developing training programs for government officials and preparing methodological manuals.
