Formation of dance skills in students of choreographic specialties in the system of higher professional education

In article such concepts as skill and abilities, their views from positions of scientists-researchers, teachers, psychologists are considered. The ability formation process which yet didn't become skill, then a transitional stage from ability to skill and the end result which is an indicator of mastering students of dancing actions is analyzed. Also the problem of formation of professional skills is investigated, the concept «dancing skill» is specified. Levels of mastering students are analyzed by the actions which are skill existence indicators. Examples of methods of work of the teacher with students on formation of dancing skills are given: motive, intellectual and perceptual skills.
