The content of the article reveals the experience of the formation of the children's artistic and cultural competence by means of fine art. The author examines the role of the regional component in the artistic culture of the child's personality. The article reveals selected optimal pedagogical conditions of formation of the artistic and cultural qualities of the child's personality in the system of continuity of preschool and primary education.
