The formation of novice journalists the skill of critical analysis of media texts

The author of this article is telling about his own experience of developing the skill of critical analysis of media texts among novice journalists, which is formed during the development of the academic discipline "Media criticism". Senior students of Kazan (Volga river) Federal University studying in the direction of “Journalism” study not only the theoretical concepts of media education, as well as the work of famous Russian media critics, but also learn to make an objective critical analysis of media texts, paying attention to their various components.
