Fostering social intolerance of corrupt behaviour as a preventive measure

The perception of corruption among citizens is often false, which shows the need for special measures aimed at informing citizens about manifestations of corruption. Therefore, legislators, state bodies and in general all subjects of legal relations are obliged to carry out consistent work aimed at creating intolerance to any manifestations of corruption in society. Today, there is really active work in this direction, the purpose of which is to create an atmosphere of total intolerance towards all manifestations of corruption. The methodological basis of the research is a set of both general and particular methods of scientific knowledge. The authors considered the points of view of a number of researchers on the content of the concept of “the formation of intolerance to corrupt behavior in society”, an attempt was made to offer their own definition. The main subjects of the process have been identified. The legal foundations of the formation of intolerance to corrupt behavior in the Russian legislation are analyzed. The means currently used in Russia and abroad aimed at creating intolerance to any manifestations of corruption in society have been studied. Attention is drawn to the problems arising in the course of the implementation of measures to form an intolerant attitude towards corruption. The authors come to the conclusion that today there is an acute need for systematic, multifaceted work of all subjects of legal relations, aimed at creating intolerance to corruption in society.
