Formation of the students’ healthy lifestyle by means of gaming health technologies

The article is devoted to the potential of gaming health technologies as an effective means of forming students’ healthy lifestyles in the conditions of modern higher educational institution. The study justifies the necessity of transitioning from traditional approaches to interactive formats that correspond to the psychological peculiarities of the digital generation. The main focus is on three key directions of implementing gaming practices: sports and gaming technologies including adapted team games and dance programs; digital gamification based on the mobile applications and rating systems; and methods for enhancing mental health through role-playing games and training sessions. Particular attention is paid to the practical aspects of implementation including phased integration into the educational process, development of incentive systems, training of teaching staff, and involvement of student communities. It is proved that the suggested approach not only improves physical health indicators but also fosters a conscious attitude toward well-being as a basis for professional fulfillment, creating a holistic wellness environment within the educational space of the higher learning institution.
