Formation of significant competences among students of economic specialties by means of foreign language

The article focuses on the importance of foreign language proficiency for economic professionals working in a globalized and integrated environment. The author emphasizes the need for a good knowledge of the language to read foreign literature, analyze markets and negotiate. There is a problem of poor foreign language learning by students, which prevents employment in international companies. The requirements of the Federal State Standards define mandatory competencies, including high communication skills and foreign language proficiency. The author offers solutions: interactive classes, internships in international firms, professional consultations and distance learning. It is emphasized that fluency in a foreign language increases competitiveness in the global labor market and improves employment prospects. Recommendations are given for the formation of universal competences, such as effective communication and documentation in a foreign language. There are obstacles that hinder the successful learning of the language: lack of attention by teachers, low motivation of students and lack of teaching hours. The author calls for creating comfortable conditions for independent language learning and improvement of educational programs. The conclusion confirms the importance of foreign language skills for career development and success in modern society.
