Listeria antigens fractionin g and determination of their allergic properties

Бесплатный доступ

By fractionating the listeria biomass with acids, alkalis and detergents, polypeptide fractions were obtained and their allergenic properties studied. The medications were tested on guinea pigs and rabbits. They were previously sensitized by vaccination with the ACE vaccine strain or by an infection with a sublethal dose of the listeriosis virulent strain before the intradermal sample was administered. Allergen obtained by method 4 was the most active of 9 test subjects. It has been established that vaccination and infestation of guinea pigs and rabbits with a sublethal dose of the virulent strain of listeria is accompanied by the development of a delayed hypersensitivity reaction detected by an intradermal allergy sample with a specific listeriosis allergen. Allergenic activity of drugs varies depending on the way they are fractionated.
