The article is devoted to a review of literary texts of the XX-XXI centuries, in which the image of Franz Kafka appears as a character, the mentioned image is analyzed from the point of existence of fictional and documentary features and their adaptation. Also, a preliminary classification of approaches to an image of a predecessor reflected in the analyzed texts is provided.
