French animalistic portrait (based on the French comparative constructions with the component-zoonym)

The article deals with the semantic analysis of the comparative constructions with the component-zoonym in the French language. There is revealed that the French zoonyms have the row of the national and cultural characteristics and are widely presented in the phraseological fund of the French language. These zoonyms have an evaluative component that allows to estimate them as one of the means of the development of the perception of the realia of the world around us by the representatives of the French linguocultural community.
