The article deals with the issue of phraseological nomination as a means of revealing the value of the objects of the real world in the natural language according to the criterion “significant / non-significant”. Phraseological nomination is viewed as a way of secondary nomination, which is based on the metaphorization of language units resulting in the evaluative component in their semantics.
