Phraseological and paremic units with the component sug ‘water’ in Khakass and Tuvan languages

This article discusses the most common Khakass and Tuvan phraseological and paremic units, which contain the component sug 'water'. The comparative analysis allowed us to establish both national-specific and general values of stable expressions. It is revealed that the Khakass and Tuvan languages have a fairly large number of phraseological units similar in meaning. The obtained results can be used when reading lecture courses on the Khakass and Tuvan languages at the philological faculties of universities, when compiling educational and methodological manuals, as well as in comparative typological studies.
