Compairing the antonymous idiomatic turns with turn’ components «hand / arm», «eye», «heart» in the Nogay and English languages

Specific features of idiomatic units being independent language units determine specific semantic relations in the idiomatic framework. Antonyms are widely represented among the other semantic relations in phraseology. The study considered the antonymous idiomatic turns with the components “hand/arm”, “eye”, “heart” in both the Nogay and English languages. The author examined the antonymous sets with quotations illustrating each antonymous idiomatic turn. The study’ outcomes have been summarized in the relevant tables.
