Functional urban planning analysis of Petrovsky island and adjacent territories in St. Petersburg

This article is devoted to the functional and planning analysis of Petrovsky Island and adjacent territories in the city of St. Petersburg. The existing problems of the functional and planning structure of the territory are determined, and the relevance of this study is revealed. Functional zones, their composition, ratio, and significance in the structure of the territory under consideration are analyzed. Its main characteristics and features are determined, as well as its importance in the structure of the city. Potential functional and planning urban conflicts have been identified.
