Functional and semantic modelling of word formation (based on the Russian and German languages)

The article deals with the cognitive research of the word formation of the Russian and German languages. The problems of the systematic approach of word formation are analyzed from the functional and cognitive perspective. There is considered the word-formative meaning of the word as a basic word-formative object where there are reflected the different aspects of concretization of the global concept in the process of the speech communication.
