Functional-semantic type of speech "description" as a modifier of grammar indicators of aspect and tense (based on Chinese texts' analysis)

The article is devoted to the influence offunctional-semantic type of speech on the usage of aspect and tense indicators in predicates. The author analyzes Chinese descriptive texts to establish how description as a type of speech determines the choice of aspect and tense indicators and how the time of action is conveyed in description lexically through the adverbial modifiers of time.
