Functional structures of German legal discourse

This paper is devoted to the study of functional structures in German-language legal discourse. The authors attempt to systematise functional verbs and functional structures themselves on the basis of their conceptual meaning in legal texts, and trace the formation and development of their semantics on the basis of structural-semantic models that make it possible to form whole series of functional structures in German-language legal discourse. The semantic transformation of functional verbs as part of functional structures in legal discourse texts is significant.
