Functional potencial of discursive markers

The article deals with issues related to the mass, pragmalinguistic qualification on the material of discursive markers. The proposed topic is relevant not only in the field of linguistics, but also in linguistic pragmatics and pragmalinguodidactics. The article deals with the concepts of "discursive marker", "pragmalinguistic competence". The concept of discourse turns out to be very productive for solving the problems of linguodidactics and, in particular, professional linguodidactics, the subject of which includes all subsystems involved in organizing the process of teaching a foreign language to specialists. The object of the research is the mechanisms of formation of pragmalinguistic competence on the material of discursive markers. The subject of the analysis is the role of discursive markers in the formation of pragmalinguistic competence. Discursive markers have a great functional potential. The article considers the pragmatic potential of the grammatical discursive markers well and you know. Corpuses and dictionaries served as the research material. According to the results of the analysis of these corpora and dictionaries (BNC, CCAE, ColD, MD, RC, OLD), the functions of these discursive markers (doubt and distrust, irony, emphasis, explanation and encouragement, surprise, objection) are determined. This indicates that discursive markers perform both main and auxiliary pragmatic functions, being included in the system of multi-stage pragmatic variation.
