The article discusses the interaction of culinary subjects with media culture. The reasons for the emergence of a gastronomic cult in the media and its active dissemination are considered: questions of information tally and the impact of public opinion on media behavior are raised. Shown is the global penetration of the topic of food in many media industries with specific examples. It also raises issues of print media decline and advertising.
