Gender-marked nomination of the person in Buryat language

The notion "gender" came to the Russian science in the late 80's-early 90's and became a research subject of a number of scientists. The gender dimension of person nomination is paid attention in many languages. Lexicon of natural language, its nominative system is one of the most important sites of gender studies. The article deals with gender-marked nomination of the person in the Buryat language.
