Gender-age features and somatic disorders in adolescents with nonpsychotic depressive disorders (comparative study)

Objective: to study the gender-age characteristics and the clinical and nosological structure of somatic disturbances in adolescents living in the Khabarovsk Territory (RF) and Heilongjiang Province (Harbin, China); to reveal their influence on the clinical picture and the course of nonpsychotic depressive disorders. Material and Methods. We examined 94 adolescents with nonpsychotic depression (50 Russian and 44 Chinese) who underwent inpatient treatment in the psychiatric hospitals of Khabarovsk and Harbin. Of these, based on the ethnicity, the Russian and Chinese groups of adolescents of early (11-14 years) and late (15-18 years) adolescence were formed. The clinical-anamnestic, clinical-psychopathological, global clinical and mathematical-statistical methods were used in the work. Results.
