Gender characteristics of students' motivation to play sports

The article discusses the types of motivation associated with sports. The results of a study aimed at identifying the relationship between certain motivation factors and sports are presented. The gender features of the predominance of internal and external motivation for sports among male and female student-athletes have been studied. It is concluded that such differences are insignificant.
