The article deals with the peculiarities of the gender imaginations actualized in the modern superstitions - the occasional transformations of the genre and speech forms translating the changing reality of the society. The author presents the gender information represented in the proverb units in the aspect of its transformation in the context of the traditional gender stereotypes.
