Management decision making is reviewed from the perspective of the sociology of management. Every company develops and makes its management decisions determined by the nature and context of its activities, its organizational structure, current communication system, and internal culture. From the standpoint of gender management, it is also necessary to consider the impact of such factors as leadership style and personal qualities of a manager on decision making. The paper presents the results of an expert poll of successful female leaders and a survey of the employees of small businesses. The research shows that the leadership style and priority personal qualities of a leader do not depend on gender. Successful leadership models are used by top managers who have ideas about both men and women’s business behavior without regard to their own gender.
