Genetic determination of breeding traits in Oryol population of black-motley cattle

The article presents data on the analysis of the heritability coefficients in a herd of Black-motley cows in the Orel region. Studied the heritability of milk yield for 305 days, the fat content of milk, protein in milk, live weight. It was determined that the growth of the herd milk yield was 1146 kg of milk in a single generation, or 119.4% relative heterosis effect.
