Genesis of form and content of the activities of the students'' Self-government in higher education institutions in Russia reform period (1860-1917)

The article described the basic forms of student self-government to all universities in Russia in the period studied, such as the town, the scientific community, the mutual fund, etc. Their main objectives and content of activities are identified. Based on an analysis of monographs S.P. Melgunova, V.M. Pirushkevicha, G.. Etelya and V. Gorokhova factors contributing to the emergence of various forms of government, as well as their genesis are identified. The role of the state in the emergence of these forms is determined. A classification of contemporary forms of student self-government is quoted.
