Genotypical dependence of milk proteins content in various species of agricultural animals

Бесплатный доступ

Genotypical dependence of milk proteins content in various species of agricultural animals, such as cattle, sheep and pigs according to β-casein and β-lactoglobulin loci was observed. In spite of the specie they have a great influence of these loci on the content of such proteins which are responsible for their synthesis, and to mild extent -of the other proteins. Specie variability is in the fact that according to protein content in milk heterozygotes prevail in sheep, homozygotes prevail in pigs, but in the cattle heterozygotes and homozygotes are found.

Cattle, sheep, pig, milk, protein, genotype, locus polymorphism, casein, lactoglobulin
