Geoinformation monitoring of territorial economic and social systems

The article presents the results of investigation of territorial social and economic systems, such as the Asian part of Russia, Mongolia and China. Based on the data of government statistics of the three countries, we have developed a system of unified indicators to assess social and economic dynamics. A bank of social and economic data including databases on economics, demography and agriculture has been formed. The article describes a technique for monitoring territorial social and economic systems, processes within them, which is based on geoinformation technology. We have developed a system of territory administration levels for geoinformation monitoring and mapping of social and economic processes at the investigated area, including governmental, administrative, municipal and local spatial levels. A series of inventory and analytical maps of the dynamics of socio-economic processes has been compiled. The article gives a brief analysis of the demographic situation, the dynamics of animal husbandry and crop production at the investigated area in the postSoviet period.
