The hydrochemical and microbiological characteristic of mineral lakes Nukhe-Nur Eastern and Nukhe-Nur Western (Zabaikalye)

Mineral lakes Nukhe-Nur Eastern and Nukhe-Nur Western in the Barguzinsky valley have been studied. It is revealed that in water and bottom sediments high number of bacteria participating in aerobic and unaerobic decomposition of organic substance under alkaline conditions is at the initial stages of destruction of organic substance. It is shown that these processes are the most active under the conditions of raised alkaline.
