The frequency of hypotonic bleeding in the postpartum period determines the urgency of the problem. The key to assisting is to prevent massive blood loss leading to coagulopathic bleeding and DIC. Its speed and timeliness determine the amount of blood loss. The state of the hemostatic system, identified by thromboelastogram in women with postpartum hypotonic bleeding, for the treatment of which they used controlled balloon tamponade (UBT) and without it, with different volumes of blood loss, is described. The results allow us to judge the statistically significant differences in the indicators of thromboelastogram in the comparison group with blood loss of up to 1.49 l and up to 2 l compared with the control group. With massive blood loss, changes in hemostasis are the same with women in the control group and are not statistically significantly different.
