Verbal-nominal word-groups in English

In the given article interesting parallels in the functioning of verbal-nominal word groups in English and Russian are established. English verbal-nomanal word-groups, as well as Russian ones, express defined aspectual and voice terms. Research of «Russian National Corpus» was the only means to show absence of verbal-nominal word-groups with passive semantics in English.
