Main department of transport of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs as a subject of ensuring law and order on transport objects

The article is devoted to the analysis of the powers of the Main Directorate for Transport of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the field of ensuring law and order. The author highlights the main areas of ensuring law and order. By examining the status normative acts of the Main Transport Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, the powers of this department in the field of ensuring law and order at transport facilities were established and classified. It is concluded that the GUT of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia is a relatively separate special structure in the system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, which has broad powers, the activity of which is focused on ensuring law and order in the established field.
